Transactions exceeding Rs 10,000 by each candidate must be conducted through cheque or online channels. District cooperative banks are entrusted with the responsibility of monitoring such transactions diligently. Additionally, every bank within the Lok Sabha constituency is mandated to furnish daily reports on transactions exceeding Rs 10 lakh to the expenditure control committee.

An anonymous senior official from the income tax department revealed collaborative efforts involving multiple departments to ensure strict compliance with regulatory norms.
